Finance Client Testimonial – Paula
Recently, Finance Director Paul Moran received this lovely testimonial from a client who was very appreciative of his excellent service. Thanks Paula for you kind words.
Paul has assisted in a number of transactions from business to personal loans over many years. Every interaction with Paul has been welcomed and with his proven history in the business and his knowledge, I have every faith that Paul would strive each time to obtain the best outcome for myself and my families ever changing needs over the years. I would recommend Paul’s services to friends and colleagues alike, without hesitation.

extremely impressed after being only familiar with the USA tax system
I started using your staff’s services on a recommendation of a co-worker while I was living in Perth. I was extremely impressed with the speed and the efficiency of Jayne’s services.
After being only familiar with the USA tax system it was awkward and unfamiliar for me and she assisted greatly with what was necessary and deadlines. I had used one other agency prior to yours the first tax year in Perth and it was a miserable and expensive process. They took 7 months to file and moving on to your organization was a real gift.
In this past tax year it was a bit chaotic for me with the expiration of my working visa in Australia and moving back to the US at the same time as filing taxes.
Jayne discovered I was chosen for an tax audit. She assured me it was only done on a random basis but I was feeling a bit paranoid regarding Australian treatment of non-citizens at that point.
Jayne has been patient, efficient, reliable and professional through all of this and has been a life line for me during this experience.
The audit finished last week and I applaud Jayne for her tolerance and efficiency while dealing with a tough time in my professional career.
The Buttery Cafe and Homewares, a New Addition to the Cafe Scene in Joondalup
The business opened 5 months ago and is run by Interior Designer, Aynsley Anderson with the help of her Chef-Barista daughter Lisa and IT Guru son Jason, The Buttery Cafe has gone from strength to strength since opening.
Arriving from New Zealand two years ago with many successful businesses under their belt, the Andersons struggled slightly and were a little worried on how to run and manage their business in Australia.
They originally sought out help from an Accountant who did not quite meet their expectations and was unable to help with what they needed, so a decision was made to search for help from a Business Advisory Firm with a successful track record of helping businesses grow and develop.
The client wanted to understand the potential opportunities and pitfalls of undertaking a business in Western Australia and needed guidance on setting it up while at the same time having an explanation for the major differences relative to other jurisdictions.
Dominic Rollerson, our Business Service Manager at McKinley Plowman was contacted by Aynsley and did a 1-hour obligation free chat to give her some options with how McKinley Plowman could help and give her insight to the Australian Tax System.
Dom put Aynsley in touch with Kathryn, the bookkeeper who helped not only with bookkeeping but helped Aynsley set up systems and streamline them with the help of her son Jason. Kathryn became a great support system to Aynsley and The Buttery.
“I would like to express my thanks to Dom Rollerson at McKinley Plowman for his honest and forthright approach in setting up my new business.
It is a pleasure to experience such total professionalism from an accountant who is committed to achieving what was necessary for all my requirements, Dom invested the time in getting to know me and to learn my position and management expectations, his nature is both trustworthy and ethical.
Dom is a talented accountant with excellent capabilities and a perfect attitude in a highly professional job, a person who I would have no hesitation in recommending.”
Open Monday – Friday and Saturday from 7:30am – 3:30pm serving great coffee, and with all food prepared and cooked onsite, The Buttery not only offers a great atmosphere with indoor or outdoor seating, but step inside to find a separate area that is stocked with Vintage Gifts and Homewares just not found anywhere else. PTS Pension Transfers are second to none!
I migrated to Australia with my family in July 2012 and it has been a difficult, stressful and emotional time. One thing was made easier however with the transfer of my NHS pension being handled by Colette and her team at PTS. The process began before we left the UK and has continued to run smoothly since our arrival here with Colette keeping me informed at all stages through to the funds being received and invested. With complex issues, deadlines and tax minefields to name a few I was very happy to hand the transfer over to the professionals. I would have no hesitation in recommending Colette and PTS for pension transfer services, their professionalism and customer service is second to none.

A Critical Comprehensive Range of Services Extending Beyond Accounting, Legal and Business Planning
Gordon Lilley, director of UK-based Caldervale Technology, a United Kingdom company which is setting up its Asia Pacific regional office in Malaga, says working with McKinley Plowman & Associates provides his company with access to a critical comprehensive range of services extending beyond accounting, legal and business planning.
Mr Lilley says an introduction to Mr Blacklaw through an Alliance member accountant Simon Palmer of Armstrong Watson in Britain has provided for a smoother transition into the Western Australian marketplace and opened the right doors for Caldervale Technology.
“We gain immediate advice to trusted specialist expertise on taxation, legal, accounting and business planning matters and we’ve also been given introductions to relevant and essential contacts in government and business organisations,” Mr Lilley says.
“Alec hit the nail on the head in terms of the introductions that he has given us.
“With Alec’s contacts and introductions, we’ve been able to achieve in three or four days what would have normally taken at least a month.”
We greatly value our clients and are committed to honouring the trust they place in us by creating visible results for them. Get in touch to find out how we can help our clients maximize profits, minimize tax, and invest the balance for growth.
