We live busy lives, and the competing demands of work, family and other commitments often results in important things not getting done.
Time is the critical (and finite) element, complexity is the challenge and financial “peace of mind” is what we yearn for. Things can, and often do, get in the way despite our best intentions.
Life Plan is your comprehensive roadmap across all aspects of your financial affairs to provide a clear picture of where you want to get to, map out your journey and make sure you get there on time.
The Life Plan Process
Step 1: Online Questionnaire
We start your Life Plan by providing you a link to an online questionnaire which has 2 parts: (1) Personal and Financial Information and (2) What’s Important to You. This should take around 20 minutes to complete.
Step 2: Life Plan Report
On completion of the questionnaire, we will provide you with a complimentary Life Plan report that identifies the following:
- Are you are on track to achieving your goals and if not, how much do you need?
- What are the issues that are important to you? What are your highest priorities?
When the report is ready, we’ll contact you to arrange a time to discuss it.
Step 3: Action Plan
It’s great to identify issues and areas for improvement but it is identifying the strategies specific to your needs and implementing them that is the key to success (and where most of us fail!).
We utilise the considerable expertise across McKinley Plowman to brainstorm strategies across all your high priority objectives in your Life Plan report and establish a detailed action plan to make sure they are implemented.
Importantly, we will manage this process for you, set action dates and get you on track to achieving your goals and lifestyle aspirations.
Life Plan Review
Nothing stands still. Change is constant – be that economic, legislative or your personal circumstances. Stuff happens!
We will regularly review your Life Plan to make sure the strategies continue to be aligned with your objectives and make adjustments where necessary to give you the peace of mind that you will be able to stay on track.
We look forward to the journey together.
